The Brookfield School of Guitar was created with one goal in mind; to provide excellent musical instruction to players of all levels. Well-established, infallible, musical information, guaranteed to help you to grow as players and artists, is what you will receive at the Brookfield School.

There are no auditions to attend the school. The absolute beginner is welcomed here and can feel at ease, knowing that they will not be overwhelmed while learning at their speed and ability. Intermediate and advanced players will find teachers equal to the task of guiding them through more sophisticated musical instruction. However there will be a brief audition for ensembles to ensure you
are placed with a group of your piers thereby giving you a better environment in which to learn.

At the Brookfield School you will learn more about the language of music, which will enable you to seek a higher level of expression through musical knowledge and new approaches to playing.

Brookfield Philosophy

Most musicians have an unrealistic idea of what their stage of development is. These lessons do not cut corners. They will however help you to structure your practice routine. Within the first few weeks of your lessons you will know exactly what to practice every day.

All students will learn how to read music. These lessons will especially help jazz, classical or rock musicians who are interested in developing their improvisation skills

The purpose of these lessons is to further your musicianship and we therefore reserve the right to terminate your lessons at any time if we feel you are not getting the full benefit of the course due to lack of practice.
